Volunteers - Help Us Help Others

We have all sorts of volunteering opportunities. From helping with the practical work, we provide – garden maintenance and decorating ,to fundraising, office support, and helping at events FACE attends. We very much believe in giving back as much as we receive from our volunteers and so will guide and support you also in terms of work placement experience, references, CV support etc.

Recently we have built a relationship with  a couple of young adults completing their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh. They carried out regular support for our charity over a period and we completed the relevant references for the charity section of their award. This has enabled the individuals to complete their Duke of Edinburgh and enabled FACE to raise much needed funds and complete tasks using their support.

The picture opposite is one of our long standing volunteers John.  He supports the Sittingbourne branch and loves helping out in the garden and doing the decorating as well. FACE relies on volunteers like John in order to keep the charity going.
